This role is a strategic pillar within the Citizen EOR core team, specifically designed to bridge the gap between high-level retail strategy and operational financial excellence. As a C-suite leader under our Core Team Framework, you will oversee the financial health and scalability of retail operations across the GCC.

Your Impact You aren't just "doing the books." You are the architect of profitability for a multi-regional retail chain. You will translate complex operational data into actionable executive strategy, ensuring that every storefront and distribution center across the GCC operates at peak financial efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Strategic Steerage: Partner with the CEO and Board to define long-term financial goals and navigate the unique regulatory landscapes of the UAE, KSA, and Qatar.
• Operational Optimization: Lead the "Citizen Core Team" in streamlining supply chain costs, inventory turnover ratios, and retail labor models.
• Performance Management: Establish KPIs that go beyond the P&L—focusing on unit economics, shrinkage reduction, and regional tax optimization.
• Risk & Compliance: Ensure all retail operations adhere to GCC-specific VAT regulations and local labor financial compliance.

Qualifications

• Experience: 12+ years in senior finance roles, with at least 5 years at the Director or Executive level within the Retail Industry.
• Regional Expertise: Deep understanding of GCC market dynamics, including Saudiization/Nitaqat and UAE commercial laws.
• Education: Professional qualification (CPA, CFA, or CMA) and an MBA from a top-tier institution.
• Tech-Savvy: Proficiency in high-end Retail ERPs and BI tools for real-time financial reporting.
