About the Role
As the Assistant Manager of Operations, you will be a key driver in the tactical execution of our high-speed delivery network. This role requires a hands-on leader who can translate operational strategies into daily excellence across our fulfillment centers. You will be responsible for synchronizing warehouse throughput with rider fleet performance to meet the aggressive delivery windows that define the Quick Commerce industry. Your focus will be on maintaining high-performance standards, identifying real-time bottlenecks, and leading a diverse operational team to ensure every order is processed with precision and speed.
Responsibilities
- Operational Workflow Optimization: Supervise daily hub operations to ensure seamless transitions between inventory receiving, picking, packing, and dispatch.
- Performance Metrics Governance: Monitor and report on localized KPIs including "Pack-Time," "Order Accuracy," and "Rider Wait Time," implementing immediate corrective actions when targets are missed.
- Fleet & Resource Management: Oversee the scheduling and real-time deployment of the delivery fleet to match fluctuating demand patterns and minimize idle time.
- Inventory Integrity Management: Lead systemic stock audits and reconciliation processes to maintain 99.9% inventory accuracy and reduce leakage/shrinkage.
- Incident Resolution & Crisis Management: Act as the first point of escalation for operational disruptions, ensuring rapid resolution of logistics hurdles to maintain service continuity.
Qualifications
- Proven Track Record: Minimum 3+ years of professional experience in Operations Management, specifically within Last-Mile Logistics, E-commerce, or Q-Commerce environments.
- Professional Pedigree: Demonstrated ability to lead mid-sized teams in a high-pressure, fast-turnaround setting with a verifiable record of operational target achievement.
- Language Proficiency: * English: Professional fluency is mandatory.
- Arabic: Proficiency is a significant advantage.
- Additional Languages: Proficiency in Hindi, Filipino, or Bangla is highly regarded and provides a distinct advantage for ground-level communication.
- Role-Specific Skillset:
- Expertise in Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and real-time dispatch tools.
- Advanced Shift Planning & Resource Allocation capabilities.
- Proficiency in Data Visualization & Operational Reporting.
- Mastery of Lean Operations & Basic Six Sigma principles.
- Strategic Conflict Resolution & Team Leadership.
